GIRLS FOR SCIENCE (G4S) INITIATIVE

Girls for Science (G4S) is an initiative of Africa Young Scientists, a Non - Profit Organization that focus on youths’ education, specifically in science. G4S is all about the inclusiveness of African girls from age (12- 18) in science by fostering them through 21st-century skills in science, science awareness program, career development program, mentorship, scholarships, boot camps and competitions, workshops and skills acquisition program.

Aim of G4S

G4S aim is to be listed as one of the globally recognized platforms where African high school girls can explore their interests in science and develop critical skills for their career pursuit.

Mission of G4S

The mission of G4S is to re-orientate and encourage girls in high school into science fields and prepare their minds for the task ahead.

G4S Initiative Objectives

  1. Ensuring inclusive and quality education, thereby promoting sustainable development goal (SDG4)
  2. Creating learning opportunities for girls in science
  3. Inspiring high school girls to discover and embrace science
  4. Partnering with other organizations to sponsor outstanding girls
