About
Materials chemist with expertise in inorganic chemistry, nanomaterials, materials synthesis and characterization, and environmental remediation. My current research focuses on the valorization of waste-derived materials especially carbon quantum nanomaterials for water treatment and CO₂ capture, with the aim of developing sustainable, high-performance materials for environmental applications. I am also transitioning into computational nanotechnology to integrate experimental and predictive approaches in materials research. Beyond my scientific work, I have a growing interest in mentoring, science policy, and science diplomacy, particularly in the areas of sustainable development, capacity building, and international scientific collaboration.
